Marshawn Lynch's (Beastmode) kickback family lounge. Good music, drinks, games and vibes. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They make you feel like you're part of the family. The service was very great. Overall, a very wholesome experience. Thank you Rob Ben's!

The girl at the front I think her name was serena, she has blue hair, her CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! From her greeting me to asking me that I want to sit in the dining hall or the bar, she sat me down with the menus brought me back a margarita and under one minute actually did I want some water, bought me a carafe of water, and took my order for two smothered pork chops with rice and gravy yams and greens. The food WAS EXCELLENT! I'm from Louisiana, and this food was delicious, I thought I could eat it all but I was stuffed after eating half of it. I can't say enough about the customer service and professionalism, even the lady that was on the TV marshawn's aunt, came out to greet me while I was eating and asked me how I was doing. Hats off the black business! I will be going back next Saturday

Hands down some of the best soul food I've had! It's always poppin in there. The staff is extremely friendly & welcoming, and it seems like they have a lot of regulars. We came around 4ish on a Sunday & it wasn't too busy. We probably missed the rush, because the time we got there they were out of greens. Just another reason for me to go back haha. You will definitely need multiple visits to try everything on their menu. Their fried chicken was perfect! I'm not that much of a grits fan (it's a texture thing) but the gravy they put on the savory shrimp & grits is sooo flavorful. I'd ask for a side of the gravy alone & put it on everything! Hopefully you have a sweet tooth because they also make some super delicious cake! Rob Ben's is a must when you're in the area. They also have an outdoor area, cool little kick it spot - perfect for hosting an event!

If you are looking for food that feeds the soul and strong drinks, Rob Ben's is the place to be! The grits were amazing; very rich, smooth, and flavorful. They have karaoke on Thursday and Saturday catering to the grown and sexy. The service was amazing as you are greeted upon walking in and tended to immediately. Will def be back!

THIS IS THE PLACE for great food, service, drinks, and cozy ambiance. First visit was Sat. 6/9/24. Mid afternoon. Walked in seated immediately at the bar (our preferred location). Music was old school R&B not too loud you can carry a conversation and get your groove on. Food was beyond good....depth of flavors, quality ingredients, and love went in to every dish. We watched other people enjoying their meals, I wanted to order half the menu... Hubby ate the savory shrimp and grits and I had wings with Mac & cheese. He had a Modelo dark and I enjoyed a refreshing peach cocktail. Then I got the Hennessy cake for dessert and husband got a Tupac drink(Hennessy and champagne). If I could have licked the cake plate clean I would have. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food came out on time not so fast that you felt like it was a cafeteria, but quickly like made to order fresh. Their menu changes up frequently. The only downside which is no fault of the owners is parking. This is typical Bay Area parking it may take a few times around the block, but it is sooooo worth it. I literally can't wait to go back and try a new dish. Please take the trip to Emeryville and support this local restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We arrived just as they were opening on a Friday afternoon. I could smell the aromas as we approached the restaurant!! We ordered the Mama lynch that came with fried fish, fried pork chops, and chicken wings.... Our side selections were the red beans and rice, mans and cheese and an extra side of yams... OMG.. the flavors were smacking.. delicious... flavors popping. So good.. our waitress Shawnee , sorry if I misspelled or got your name wrong, was very polite and attentive. She shared that she made the Mac and cheese and red beans and rice with love and that's exactly how the food tasted, loved Five stars so delicious . When we return to the area, we will be back.

Rob Ben's is a great place. The atmosphere is one of a 70's soul food restaurant. It has TV's for all the game watching you want plus a patio to hang out in and have dinner. Oh, it has a definite Cal and East Bay football vibe to it as it is owned by former Oakland Tech and Cal great Marshawn Lynch. The food is amazing. I had the pork chops with the yams and red beans and rice. It was really good. And the portions were huge. I got like two meals from it. Serena our server was funny and friendly and amazing. She was outstanding and is willing to help and customize your order. Rob Ben's is a place that I would love to go to again.
